Ada Denizcilik ve Tersane İşletmeciliği A.Ş. (“Company”) aims to process the personal data of website visitors in accordance with the Personal Data Protection Law No. 6698 (“Law”) and other applicable legislation. Through this privacy notice, we inform you about the method of collection of your personal data, the purposes of processing, legal grounds, to whom and for what purposes your processed personal data may be transferred, and your rights.

Due to your status as a customer of our Company, your personal data that you have provided/will provide to our Company and/or that has been obtained by our Company externally through any means may be processed by our Company, acting as the “Data Controller”;

We process your personal data primarily for the execution of our business, the conduct of commercial activities, the execution of product/service marketing processes, and for the purposes set out in the Personal Data Protection and Processing Policy (“Policy”), accessible at https://ada-shipyard.com/tr/kvk, within limited purposes in accordance with the following provisions under paragraph 2 of Article 5 of the Law:

“c) Processing of personal data belonging to the parties of a contract is necessary, provided that it is directly related to the establishment or performance of a contract.”

“d) The personal data has been made public by the data subject himself/herself.”

“e) Data processing is mandatory for the establishment, exercise, or protection of a right.”

“f) Data processing is mandatory for the legitimate interests of the data controller, provided that it does not harm the fundamental rights and freedoms of the data subject.”

We protect your personal data by taking all necessary technical and administrative measures during the retention periods stipulated in the Personal Data Retention and Destruction Policy, accessible from the same address, and delete, destroy, or anonymize such data within the periodic destruction period following the expiry of such retention period.

Your personal data that you share with us through our website will be stored within our group companies and will not be shared with or transferred to any third parties.

Your personal data is stored by Company units and personnel in physical and digital environments. Your personal data may be retained for the periods required by the purposes of processing. After the purpose of processing ceases to exist, if there is no legal ground for further retention, your personal data will be deleted, destroyed, or anonymized.

The recorded Personal Data shall be retained in accordance with the law and legal requirements and shall be kept for the maximum period specified in the relevant legislation or required for the purpose for which they are processed, and in any case, for the duration of the statutory limitation periods.

SECURITY OF PERSONAL DATA

In order to ensure that your personal data is processed lawfully and stored securely, and to prevent unlawful access to your personal data, the Company takes all necessary technical and administrative measures to provide an appropriate level of security.

YOUR RIGHTS REGARDING YOUR PERSONAL DATA

Pursuant to Article 11 of the Personal Data Protection Law and the relevant legislation, by applying to the Company, you have the right to:

Learn whether your personal data is being processed, request information if your personal data has been processed, learn the purpose of processing your personal data and whether they are used in accordance with such purpose, know the third parties to whom your personal data has been transferred domestically or abroad, request correction of your personal data if it has been processed incompletely or incorrectly and request notification of the transactions carried out in this regard to third parties to whom the personal data has been transferred, request the deletion or destruction of your personal data within the framework of the conditions stipulated under the Personal Data Protection Law No. 6698 and other relevant laws and request notification of the transactions carried out in this regard to third parties to whom the personal data has been transferred, object to the occurrence of a result against you by means of analysis of processed data exclusively through automated systems, and request compensation for damages if you suffer damage due to unlawful processing of your personal data.

If you wish to exercise your rights, you may submit your applications in accordance with the procedures and principles set out in the Communiqué on the Procedures and Principles of Application to the Data Controller dated 10.03.2018 and numbered 30356, together with documents proving your identity, by filling out the Application Form available at https://ada-shipyard.com/tr/kvk and sending a wet-signed copy thereof;

c. By applying through other methods specified in the Personal Data Protection Law.

In order for third parties to submit an application request on behalf of personal data subjects, a special power of attorney issued by a notary public on behalf of the person who will submit the application must be available.
